Hey I’m Shelby, a San Diego & Boise based photographer who’s obsessed with capturing raw, genuine emotion between couples who are madly in love.
I was born and raised in sunny San Diego, California, but recently relocated to Boise Idaho with my family. I am a wife to my high school sweetheart and hero, and mother to our three beautiful children.
I love coffee, working out, being in the mountains and spending quality time with the people I love. I love hard and wear my heart on my sleeve. I will most definitely tell you what I think and if something looks good or not because I believe honesty goes a long way! I am a sucker for a cold beer or margarita. I also enjoy boating, plants, cooking healthy meals for my family and decorating our home.

What I love most about weddings is how they allow people to be their most authentic selves, truly living in the moment, enjoying one of The Best days of their lives.
Building genuine relationships with my clients is essential to me. I want to be more than just your photographer, I want to be a friend who makes you feel at ease and brings out the real you. By establishing a true connection, I can capture your unique story in all its perfect and imperfect moments.
why photography
You may not realize it now, but your wedding photos will be the most cherished item you'll have to hold onto and relive your special day. You're investing in your memories that will be treasured for generations to come!
To me photography isn’t really about the picture perfect moment, its about capturing a moment of time with someone you love. I lost my Dad and best friend September 2015 to brain cancer. Not a day goes by where he is not on my mind. I can thank him for who I am today. Losing such an important person in my life forever changed me. I wholeheartedly believe the moments we share with the people we love are more important than any other thing or place on this planet.
That is why photography is so important to me. Photographs and memories are all we have once we lose someone we love. I take great pride in capturing all the moments big and small from your wedding day that will be cherished for forever.
